Lehua Parker, Angela Hartley, and I visited a couple of Mrs. Killian’s theater classes at Union High School in Roosevelt, Utah during my first appearances as an author.
We all wrote up short scenes for the students in the class to prepare and perform in a total of ten minutes. I only had one scene prepared, but the students who drew my straw did a great job with it.
And I have a confession…my scene was performed three times, but I only got one performance captured on video. SORRY to the students, like Barbie M. (who was one of my alpha readers) who put on a great performance that I can’t show off because I oopsed. The first fail was when I forgot to start recording. The second fail was when my phone battery died right in the middle of recording and therefore nothing I had filmed was saved.
But I do have ONE video of a short write of the lake scene from Chapter 12: Ordinary of The Plague Legacy: Acquisitions. Enjoy it times three to make up for the footage I lost.
